Snatch Joke Anyone?
Proper execution of the slow lifts (Deadlift, squat, press) builds a foundation for the Olympic Weightlifting moves. That hard work should have two direct and positive influences (if not more) towards your snatch and the clean & jerk.
The first one being body positions. Both the start and finish positions, deadlift and squat. Second one being your overall strength.
Today we’ll be getting technical with the snatch and overhead squats in our workout. Let’s get a good review of the snatch so that we have our technique as dialed as possible. So that means we’ll need to get going on those back squats to make the most of the hour.
